They only talk to each other

KidTooki – Video Walkie Talkies are paired together at the factory, so they connect automatically and operate exclusively as a closed pair of devices. It is not possible to add other walkie-talkies or third parties. This means children talk only to each other – no strangers, no accidental calls, and no inappropriate content that can sometimes appear in open communication systems.

The range of up to 250 meters has been chosen to be perfect for everyday play. Children can talk between rooms, across floors, in apartments, or in the garden. It is a sufficient distance to plan adventures and shared missions while maintaining a sense of safety and control.

The devices should connect automatically. If they do not, it is possible that one of them has been reset to factory settings (for example, by holding the volume down “–” button for an extended period).

How to check the device status?

There is a status indicator dot in the bottom left corner:

  • green – the device is transmitting
  • red – the device is searching for a connection

If both devices show the same color (e.g., two green or two red), they need to be paired again.

Re-pairing instructions

  1. Turn on both devices.
  2. On one device, press and hold the volume down “–” button for 15–20 seconds until the device resets (the screen will turn off).
  3. After restarting, check the indicator dots:
    one device should show a green dot,
    the other should show a red dot.
  4. Then, on both devices at the same time, press and hold the volume up “+” button until the blue pairing screen appears.
  5. The devices should connect automatically.

After completing these steps, the walkie-talkies should work properly.
